Amanda Eakin is the Principal and founding employee at Sputnik ATX VC.
With a background in science and communication, Amanda loves experimentation + distilling complex ideas down to simple and compelling ones. She’s worn a lot of hats from helping build Sputnik ATX's accelerator into Austin's premier startup program to managing a team of three to collaborating with founders and C-level executives to optimize marketing and sales pipelines and raise successful Seed and Series A rounds.
Prior to Sputnik ATX, Amanda worked on set of nationally distributed commercials, produced podcasts about science and entrepreneurship, and earned her degree in chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin.
Amanda enjoys swing dancing, swimming in Barton Springs and hanging out with her golden doodle Roux.
